It’s like Castlevania 2, with its day/night cycle and constant combat with horror critters. Infernax resembles a lot of things, mostly classic NES games. Hell’s finest may look like nightmares, but they ain’t maceproof. This is the best retro action game I’ve played in years. It’s only March, I know that, but I guarantee this will be a legitimate game of the year contender come December. I’ve now completed this game 3 times, playing every main route, along with scooping up some extra endings along the way. I figured I would maybe hop around for an hour or so to see if it was interesting. So I decided to install Infernax on Game Pass on a lark, not knowing anything about it besides it looking Castlevania-y. It’s never been easier to hop from game to game, sampling until you finally find one you want to commit to. There are a ton of new releases demanding our attention, most of which deserve it. You can get the wolf unstuck by having them jump.Video games feel like an embarrassment of riches right now. So keep an eye on them make sure you don't loose them. I will also add cat plus wolf from beast master Ranger does get a little tricky sometimes I've had my wolf get stuck sometimes and get left behind. Anyone find an item that lets you cast this spell? If not hopefully someone will find a way to mod it in because I love having my kitty follow my Ranger but druids don't get this spell I find this HIGHLY stupid. Also don't think you can just throw them up the ledge, tried that, ended up killing the poor kitty. So if you jump down somewhere high they will auto follow you and become stuck because they can't jump up. Tip! For cats, be careful where you take them! They have very little jump range. If you want to gather kids away from a chest in a certain cave area so you aren't spotted by them. (For Ravens and Cats unsure on the others) Though you can't react by letting them pet or touch its still a nice touch and also useful. So as of release kids react to familiars! They run up asking to pet it or comment on how cute/pretty it is.
